Bowman, Departed this life August 11, 2009. Mrs. Wanda Bowman of Richmond. She is survived by two daughters; Demetrice Nicole Johnson and Victoria Shannay Bowman; three grandchildren; Cordasja Johnson, Maurice Bowman and Steve Johnson Jr.; one sister, Sally Kirk; one brother, Jerome Kirk; two aunts; Shirley Barnes and Juliet Kirk; three uncles; James Kirk, Jimmie Barnes and Henry Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Steven Johnson; two sisters-in-law; Gwendolyn Moseley and Marian Davis; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11AM at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3509 Midlothian Tnpk where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
