Departed this life January 30, 2017. Walter Hayes, age 63, of Richmond, formerly of Chase City, Virginia. He is survived by four sisters; Loretta Richardson, Linda Hayes, Juliet Brandon and Mercile Hayes; two brothers, Douglas Hayes Jr. and George Edward Hayes; two aunts, Amy and Hilda Butler; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue Saturday at 11AM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Saturday.
