Rachel P. McFadden

Departed this life February 1, 2017. Mrs. Rachel P. McFadden, age 97, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James McFadden and three sons, Willie, George & Curtis McFadden. She is survived by one daughter, Rose Phillips; eighteen grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren; one sister, Maggie Robinson; one brother, Haywood Pressley; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Delores McFadden; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pressley; and other relatives and friends. Remains, rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12 noon at First Union Baptist Church, 3510 Dill Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Alvin Armstead(pastor). Rev. Lisa Wilson off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Tuesday.
