Roderick Gresham

Departed this life February 4, 2017. Roderick Gresham, age 75, of Richmond. He is survived by three brothers, Brandon, Kermit and Tyrone Gresham; a host of nieces among them Joan Williams, Lucretia Gresham, Ruth Braxton, Loretta Jackson, Rev. Lawana Simpson, Kathy Jenkins and Tajuana Simpson; a host of nephews among them Rev. Andrew Jackson Jr., Samuel Simpson Jr., Samuel Simpson III and Juan Braxton; and cousins; five sisters-in-law; Margaret, Betty, Mildred, Catherine, and Gloria Gresham; one aunt, Vernell Gresham and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends 6:30 to 7:30PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. A. Lincoln James(pastor). Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Wednesday.
