Lewis, Departed this life August 23, 2009. Robert G.(Bear) Lewis of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Lee Lewis, one daughter, Rita D. Lewis and one granddaughter, Keonda S. Lewis. He is survived by two daughters; Angela D. and Katina L. Lewis; six sons; Robert G. III, Ronald L., Welford L., Larry D., Marvin T. and Keith D. Lewis; 33 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; six sisters; Irene Richardson, Beulah Prentiss, Jean Burrell, Edith Peebles, Charlene Lewis and Mildred Hunt; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; five daughters-in-law; Shenell, Sandy, Yolanda, Marcia and Tara Lewis and Kendall Robertson, devoted friend to Robert III; two sisters-in-law; Josephine Hatcher and Joyce Arrington; three brothers-in-law; William Belton, Robert Peebles, and Richard Motley Jr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, 4247 E. Creighton Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Lance Watson(pastor). Rev. Robert Winfree off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
