Departed this life February 25, 2017. Mrs. Legertha E. Wood, age 64, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, William Wood Sr.; one daughter, Ayana Wood, two sons, William Jr. and Kevin Wood; 13 grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Alease Yancey and Frances Reed; one brother Moses Reed Jr.; two aunts, Gwendolyn and Virginia Hickman; one uncle, Sterling Hickman; a host of nieces, nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Chontee’ and Necole Wood; seven sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Reed, Marsha Reed, Daisy Bryant, Gloria Gaines, Sarah Frazier, Cerenthia Stywalt and Elizabeth Wood; one brother-in-law, Murray Wood; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Faith Community Baptist Church, 1903 Cool Lane. Rev. Dr. Patricia A.
