Charlie Jones

Departed this life March 3, 2017. Charlie Jones, age 85, of Richmond. He is survived by two daughters, Deardria Henson and Christine Nelson; three sons; Eldgride, Darryl and Clifton Jones; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Marietta Jones; one aunt, Lucille Eastman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law. Gwendolyn Jones; one son-in-law, James E. Henson Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude and Margaret P. Jones; one brother-in-law, Corde Smith and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. A. Lincoln James(pastor) off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
