Departed this life March 29, 2017. Mrs. Bernice Nelson, age 77 of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Lee Brogdon and Gail Teresa Nelson; three sons, Michael A. Hall, James Nelson Jr. and Timothy Leon Nelson; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Delores Coles, Rose May and Diane Best; one brother, Perry Hall; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Claretha and Michelle Nelson; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Garrett and Sherita Hall; two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Coles and Wesley Best and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where funeral services will be held Friday 1PM. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
