Departed this life April 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by step daughter, Revena Bey. He is survived by his wife, Sallie Young Anderson; three daughters, Robin Coleman(Lawrence), Sallie V. Anderson and Audrey C. Anderson; two grandchildren, Lawrence and Lawren Coleman; three sisters, Marian and Bettie Anderson and Mary(Terry) German; two brothers, Kamau Islam(Evvy) and Alfred Lloyd Anderson(Roz); nieces, Brandy Anderson and Jillian German; nephew, Sterling German; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave. where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30pm Monday and where funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
