Departed this life April 28, 2017. Sylvester Johns, age 80, of Henrico,formerly of Goochland, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Johns and sister, Ruby Mae Johns and his brothers, Silas Johns “Si”(a twin) and Willie Johns(Sinkey). He is survived by two devoted cousins, Mr. Javeon(Butch) Liggins and Evangeline (Van) Howell other family members to list, niece Gail Rene Johns, cousin, Gerald Liggins, Elizabeth Howell, Margaret Brackett(Forest) and other relatives and friends and a devoted neighbor and friend, Mr. Linwood Dabbs. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30pm and where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 noon. Rev. Franklin Curry off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Thursday.
