Rochelle Scott

Departed this April 29, 2017. Mrs. Rochelle Marie Waters Scott, age 86, of Richmond. She is survived by four children; Frederick W. Scott Jr.(Paulette), Wendell C. Scott(Glendell), Lisa L. Scott, Carol S. Davis(Jonathan); seven grandchildren; Wendell D., Neil J.W., Shemeka, & Whitney K.L. Scott, and Isaiah L., Jazmine & Jordan Davis; one great grand daughter; Mydeja Thompson; and other relatives and friends. She directed choirs at Fifth Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, Third Street Bethel AME Church, and Hood Temple AME Zion Church. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday.
