Departed this life May 1, 2017. John Kirkland, age 74, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kirkland; three daughters, Regina Edwards, Chavella Jones and Kimberly Kirkland; four grandchildren; great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Wiggins and Carolyn White; one brother, Gerald Kirkland; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Kimothy Edwards; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Monday at 1PM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45pm Monday.
