Robert Earl Anderson

of Richmond, departed this life May 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Anderson; mother, Effie Swann; father, Elijah Swann; brother, Claiborn Swann; and son, Robert M. Anderson. He is survived by two daughters, Debra Denise Taylor (Brevard Sr.) and Phyllis E. Williams (Michael A.); two sons, Franklin O. (Sherry) and William N.(Yolanda) Anderson; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Brown; one brother, Elijah Swann; several nieces and nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Edwina and Bernice Swann; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Milton A. Hathaway officiating. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 p.m. Friday.
