Julia N. Jones

Departed this life May 21, 2017. Mrs. Julia Newbill Jones, age 84, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Jones I and one son, Ellis Roy Thompson. She is survived by one son, Clyde P. Jones II; seven grandchildren among them Eric Adkins(Jasma); several great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Deshazo and Bernice Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Rosa Newbill and Christine Ellis; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. A. Lincoln James(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetey. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
