Departed this life May 24, 2017. Coffer L. Bailey, age 78, of Richmond. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Barbara A. Bailey; two daughters, Corliss B. Woodson and Jeanette L. Bailey; three sons, Donald L., Christopher and Michael L. Bailey; the mother of his children, Hattie M. Lyons (William), fifteen grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Willard Bailey and a host of other cousins; one daughter-in-law, Queen Z. Bailey; two sisters-in-law, Patricia O’Brian and Yvonne Felder; two brothers-in-law Tyrone (Sherrell) and Timothy (Josephine) Felder and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 9AM at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church, 7204 Bethlehem Road, Richmond, VA followed by funeral services at 10AM. Dr. Angelo Chatmon (Pastor). Interment Carver Memorial Cemetery (Suffolk, VA) immediately after services in Richmond.
