Shirley Hagins Johnson Clarke

Departed this life July 2, 2017. Mrs. Shirley Hagins Johnson Clarke of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Clarke Sr. and one son, James Vernon Johnson. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Johnson-White(Rev. Eugene), Marjorie Williams and Alice Johnson; two sons, Tyrone and Benjamin Johnson; eight grandchildren; Travis Scott, Aaron, Brittany, Chloe’, Moses and Joshua Johnson, Keionna Hopkins and William Thornton; five great grandchildren among them Miss Anaya; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them devoted cousin, Clarence Jerome Jackson and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Providence Park Baptist Church, 468 E. Ladies Mile Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Jerome Ross(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
