Departed this life July 12, 2017. Mrs. Barbara Loretta Simms, age 62, of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Shanta Terry; two sons, Domonic Harris and Benny Simms; three grandchildren; Avery, Taylor and Kennadi Terry; mother, Louise Cole; step father, Benjamin Cole; five sisters; Patricia Coles, Betty Allen, Annette Terry, Mary Crossin, and Diane Cotman; one aunt; three uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday 1PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue. Rev. Michael Moore(pastor) off. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
