Departed this life July 12, 2017. Mrs. Alfreda Leadbetter Rogers, age 47, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Rogers. She is survived by four daughters; Shayone Leadbetter, Shaykeida Fobbs(Troy), and Jami & and Jada Rogers; two grandchildren; mother, Velma Leadbetter Sims; two sisters, Chanel McCampbell and Jamiylah Sims; three brothers; Jamar & Muammar Sims and Jawaun Leadbetter; three aunts, among them a devoted Anita Gray; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them Xavier Whitehead and Capricia Gray and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday 11AM. Rev. Leroy Cary off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Friday.
