Departed this life August 31, 2017. Mrs. Olive McKen, age 88, of Richmond, formerly of New York. She was born in Jamaica. She is survived by one daughter, Monique Patterson; one son, Roosevelt Ramsay; two grandchildren; one sister, Lurline Forbes; one brother, Eric McKoy; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in- law, Roderick Patterson; sister-in-law, Violet McKoy; brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11AM at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3700 Midlothian Tnpk where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Pastor Gene Donaldson off. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
