Nora B. White

Mrs. Nora B. White, age 82, of Blackstone, Virginia departed this life September 2, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry White. She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Humphries, Darlene Wallace and Wanda White-Mills; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Jeffrey Harris Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, William Humphries and Marvin Mills; five sisters-in-law; Shirley Watkins, Mary Elizabeth Porter, Dana White, Sammie White and Lorraine White; one brother-in-law, William “Dick” White and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Thursday, September 7 at 3:30PM. Family and friends can assemble at the funeral home at 3:15PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society Virginia.
