Departed this life September 9, 2017. Elder Sanford Williams III of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Williams; seven daughters; Gayle R. Wynn(Johnny), Amina A. Fola Rose(Chester), Sandra Dee Motley(Alex), EmmaMaria Moore(Jerry), Cathy Y. Anderson(Herbert), Shellie A. Thomas(Rodney), Candace D. Ross(Bennie); 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Evangeline Crenshaw; one aunt, Ula Hamer; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; five sisters-in-law; Hattie Williams, Mary Ann Hatch, Kathleen Cox, Carolyn Richardson and Lucinda Cook; one brother-in-law, Robert Johnson Sr.; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM. Pastor Alexander Motley off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Friday.
