Carter, Departed this life October 7, 2009. Willie Carter of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Charity Carter and one daughter, Mageline Carter. He is survived by one daughter, Belinda Strickland; one son, Kenneth Carter; one step daughter, Willnette Dyer; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Lively; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother-in-law, Carol Lively and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2600 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stephen Hewlett(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
