Aubrey Laurence Owens Sr.

Owens, Mr. Aubrey L. Owens, Sr. of Tampa, departed this life November 30, 2009. He was educated in Tampa Public Schools and was an army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lorna L. Owens; two sons, Aubrey L. Owens Jr.(Barbara) and Andre L. Owens; two grandchildren, Bria and Brice Owens; one sister, Laverne Owens Slade; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother-in-law, Lettie Thompkins; his father-in-law, Norman Wilkerson; two sisters- in-law, Bernice Johnson and Rev. Connie Bland and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30PM to 7:30PM on Friday and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs off. Interment Quantico National Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Saturday.
