Marsh, Departed this life December 23, 2009. Mrs. Mary E. Marsh of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Marsh Sr. She is survived by one daughter, Erica Marsh; one son, Harold Marsh Jr.; her mother, Elizabeth Reid Eley; two sisters, Sarah Scarbor and Sandy Hamlett; two brothers, John H. Eley Jr. and Eric Eley; one aunt, Addie Mae Burke; one uncle, Roosevelt Eley; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Dr. Diane H. Marsh and Cheryl Eley; five brothers-in-law, Senator Henry Marsh, Dr. Frederick Marsh, Dr. Hollie Baker, Elton Scarbor and Michael Hamlett and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6PM to 7PM on Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Hood Temple A. M. E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Kevin McGill(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Tuesday.
