Brooks, Departed this life January 8, 2010. Miss Alice Marie Brooks of Richmond. She is survived by her father, Wilbur Brooks; six sisters; Bernice Clayton, Doris Parrish, Brenda Buckman, Evelyn Brooks, Marilyn Jones and Samantha Alexander; four brothers; Wilbur A., Sylvester, Matthew and Wilford Brooks; two aunts, Viola Spencer and Catherine Fleming; three uncles; Floyd, Curtis and Raymond Thaniel; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Tuesday. Graveside services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Rev. Ricardo Brown off. Family and friends assemble at the cemetery 10:45AM Wednesday.
