Iris Loretta Kenny

Kenny, Departed this life February 3, 2010. Mrs. Iris Loretta Holmes Kenny. She was preceded in death by her brother, Percy E. Holmes Jr. She leaves to celebrate her life, her cherished husband of 27 years, James Kenny III; daughter, Mrs. Chante Melodie Stokes; son, Rashad James Kenny; two grandsons, Eric Stokes & Devin Collins; four sisters; Mrs.Gwendolyn Marsh, Ms. Earnestine Holmes, Mrs. Jacqueline Turner and Dr. Marymal Holmes; three brothers; Sherlock, Percell and Randolph Holmes. Sister-in-law, Brenda Kenny-Lankford; a host of nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews; devoted long time friend, Mrs. Elizabeth Hargrove and a plethora of wonderful friends and co-workers. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave. where there will be a viewing from 10-8pm on Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 Noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 10704 Gunston Road in Lorton, Virginia where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to funeral time. Pastor Luther M. Bailey officiating. Interment will be Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
