Petty, Departed this life March 5, 2010. Ms. Tawana Petty of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Petty. She is survived by one daughter, Nadia Petty and one son, Nazir Petty; her mother, Barbara Petty; her grandmother, Estelle Roundtree; five aunts; Rosa Long, Ida Lewis, Renee Stephens, Ernestine Porter and Gloria Williams; one uncle, Michael Petty; a host of cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Internment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
