McCollum, Departed this life April 5, 2010. Rodney Jeron McCollum of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one brother, William Marvin McCollum. He is survived by his father and mother, Rudolph Sr. and Ida McCollum; two sisters ,Marisha R. and Jacqueline V. McCollum; three brothers; Rudolph C. Jr., Ronald T. and Robert A. McCollum; two aunts, Leora Hampton and Mary McCollum; one uncle, Jack McCollum Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sister-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stephen Hewlette(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
