Brown, Departed this life April 5, 2010. Mrs. Emma Mines Brown of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ready and two sons, Carroll Mines and Stuart E. Mines Sr. She is survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one devoted sister, Edith Hinton; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Marian Mines; one sister-in-law, Catherine Ready and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, Rev. Queen Harris, Officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home at 10:45 am Friday.
