Johnson, Departed this life April 5, 2010. Calvin Stewart Johnson Sr. of Richmond. He is survived by three daughters; Veronica Banks(Richard), DeVora Seymore(Glenn) and Rose Marie Manning; one son, Calvin S. Johnson Jr.; six grandchildren; Jacob Johnson, Shannon Banks, Joshua Seymore, Faith Seymore , Camilla Johnson, and Jaydon Granger; one great grandchild, Jalen Johnson; two sisters, Grace Brown and Juanita Bingham; two aunts, Elizabeth Burgess and Margaret Stovall; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted ex-wife, Dorothy Chappelle. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor). Mrs. DeVora Seymore eulogy. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
