Young, Departed this life May 7, 2010. Deaconess Willie Ella(Granny) Young of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Willie Mae Crump; one son Samuel Young; six grandchildren; Andrea Crump, Robin Young(James Atkins), Kimberley Hemingway(Gary), Qasarah Bey, Damon Young and Samitri Young; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, among them Delores Bradley, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Young; one sister-in-law, Rebecca Hopkins; and other relatives and friends, among them a god granddaughter, Michelle Crump. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stephen Hewlett(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
