Phillips, Departed this life May 20, 2010. Miss Samone Phillips of Richmond. She is survived by her father and mother, Samuel and Brenda Phillips; one brother, Keith Balmer; maternal grandmother, Odell Winston; paternal grandmother, Joanne Phillips; four aunts; Angela Fitzgerald, Deborah Bright, Gloria Linton, and Veronica Crawley; two uncles, Wayne Winston and Claude Phillips; three great aunts; Ernestine Winston who is also a god mother, Mary Thomas and Novella Turner; one great great aunt, Elizabeth Wicks; a host of cousins; and other relatives and friends among them a god father, Howard L. Taylor. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church 1415 W. Cary Street. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Fifth Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
