Black, Departed this life June 4, 2010. Ralph Black Sr. of Midlothian. He is survived by his wife Joyce Black; one son, Ralph Black Jr.; one daughter, Shannon Green; three grand daughters; Nicole & Charmaine Black and Nyla Green; two brothers, Robert and Joseph Black; a host of aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Jasmin Black; one son-in-law, Mequell Green; a mother-in-law, Mattie Balthrop; three sisters- in-law Gloria & Jeannette Black and Constance Balthrop; one brother-in-law, Arthur Balthrop and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30PM on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10AM at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, 4247 Creighton Road. Dr. Lance Watson(pastor). Interment Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at the church 9:45AM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Virginia.
