Branch, Departed this life June 11, 2010. Alan “Kite Man” Branch of Richmond. He is survived by mother, Thelma Branch; two sisters, Tanza Hutchinson and a devoted Catherine Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them Sonya Conner, Denise Smith, Rodney Smith and Donna Allen; one sister-in-law, Jean Herbert; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.; Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
