Collins, Departed this life June 23, 2010. Alvin Collins Sr. of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Collins; two sons, Alvin Collins Jr. and Rev. Timothy M. Collins; one sister, Mary L. Edwards; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three brothe-in-law; William H. Edwards, Leon(Louise) and Adolph(Alvah) Sims; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Baptist Church Wednesday at 2PM where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Lance Watson(pastor). Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the church 1:45PM.
