Evelyn Belle Reaves

Reaves, Departed this life July 8, 2010. Mrs. Evelyn Belle Reaves, 82 of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lucille Belle and her brother, Charles Belle Jr. She is survived by her children; Shelley R. White(Douglas), Veronica Reaves-Harvey(William), Ava M. Reaves and Spencer Reaves Jr.; two grandsons, Spencer Reaves III and Matthew Allen Reaves; seven sisters; Robnette Butler(David), Ethel Johnson, Alma Cardwell(Junious), LaVerne Jeter, Emmeline Satterfield, Dr. Joan Christian, and Eulalia Lee(William); two brothers, Dr. Walton M. Belle(Armond) and Clyde Belle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and other relatives and friends, among them Carrie Giles and Helen Menefield. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11AM at Third Street Bethel A. M. E. Church, 614 N. Third Street, Richmond, Virginia where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services. Presiding Elder William A. Dyson Sr. off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
