Short, Departed this life August 8, 2010. Mrs. Evelyn T. Short of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Derek Short. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Cooper and Shelia Short; one so,n Marlon Short; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters; Fannie Jones, Shelby Hines and Annie Tabb; a host of nieces, among them two devoted, Brenda Jones and Kimberly Hines, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Frederick Cooper; two sisters-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:30PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. _____________________________Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 1:15PM Saturday.
