Chaney, Departed this life August 15, 2010. Miss Darlene L. Chaney of Richmond. She is survived by three sisters; Gail Chaney Smith, and Robin & Shirley Chaney; four brothers; Otto, D’Antonio, Michael and Darryl L. Chaney; three aunts; Virginia, Josephine and Lenora Arrington; a host of nieces; among them Tenicka Chaney, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Janet Chaney and Darlene Scott; and other relatives and friends, among them, Johnise Dupree, god parents Mr and Mrs Palmer E. Anderson, and a god sister, Darlene Griggs-Jones. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor). Rev. Jean Cunningham off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
