Alexander Byrd

Alexander Byrd of Richmond departed this life August 28, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Myrtle Byrd. He is survived by two graddaughters, Theresa Branch and Shavone Williams, and other relatives and friends, among them Marvin Taylor and Levern Holland. He served in the United States Army and fought in World War II. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M., Rev. Ricardo Brown officiating. Interment Quantico National Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home at 9:45 A.M. Friday.
