Jessie Mae Lucas Parker

Departed this life August 29, 2010, Mrs. Jessie Mae Lucas (Bay Sis)  Parker of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by one daughter, Alfreda  Lucas.  She is survived by four daughters; Cassandra Anderson, Christy Smith, Harriet Thompson and Michelle Parker;  one son, Eugene Lucas;  eight grandchildren;  eleven great grandchildren;  four great great grandchildren;  four sisters; Lucy Ann Lucas, Josephine Hawkins, Maggie Lucas and Nettie Drake;  two brothers, John and Leroy Lucas;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  two sons-in-law;  one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. Thursday.  Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W.  Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Earl Brown (pastor) off.  Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM  Friday.
