Hatcher, Departed this life September 14, 2010. Mrs. Violet Hatcher of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie L. Hatcher Sr., one daughter, Nellie Curry and one grandson, Anthony Mallory. She is survived by one daughter, Jean H. Mallory; two step daughters, Annie H. Tyree and Joyce H. Grantham; one step son, Benjamin Hatcher Sr.; two grandsons, Lewis E. Mallory Jr.(Tonya) and Michael S. Curry(Kyla); five stepgrandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Wilson; two brothers, Roland Wilson(Eva Mae) and Paul Wilson(Irene); five step sisters; one step brother; two aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces, among them a devoted Deborah Wilson, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Leroy Curry; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted god child, Marty Curtis. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. William B. Wiggins II(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
