Edwards, Departed this life September 20, 2010. Miss Shawn Yvette Edwards of Richmond. She is survived by one son, Treshon Edwards; her mother, Lucille Edwards; three sisters; Valencia(Lynn) Jones, Traci Edwards and Erika Edwards; maternal grandmother, Lester Young; two nephews, Quincy Acree and Christopher Hopkins and a host of cousins; one brother-in-law, Dwayne Hopkins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at Temple of Judah, 2120 Venable Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Melvin Williams Jr. off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
