Dabney, Departed this life November 21, 2010. Mrs. Evelyn(Chuck) Rogers Dabney of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Fairbanks J. Dabney; two daughters, Karen Harris and Barbara Smith; two sons, Fairbanks and Larry Smith; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters; Alice Morgan, Claudette Crisp and Anne Rogers; two brothers, Lawrence and Bernard Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Rosalind and Lilly Smith; one son-in-law, Felix Harris Sr. three sisters-in-law, Jean Hall-Dabney and Carrie & Martha Rogers; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Dabney and Milton Jackson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
