Abner Cooley Johnson III

We are deeply grieved to announce the loss of Abner Cooley Johnson III. He passed away on May 20, 2023, in Richmond, his birthplace and beloved city. He was surrounded by his family members and friends while breathing his last.


The Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home will be hosting a funeral ceremony in honor of Abner's life on June 3, 2023, from 3:30PM local time at their Grayland Avenue location in Richmond. Friends and family members are cordially invited to pay their respects and bid farewell to Abner.
