Alease Pleasant

Departed this life August 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pleasants Sr. and three sons, John Jr., George and Carnell Pleasants. She is survived by two daughters, Hester Pleasants and Barbara Pleasants Mangum;  nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Shelton and Annie Bell Morris; several nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter- in- law, Cloria Pleasants and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday at Sharon Baptist Church, 500 E. Laburnum Ave where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior to funeral time. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
