WATCH FUNERAL HERE Departed this life June 21st, 2021. Alfred E. Briggs Jr., age 80, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Katie Briggs; three daughters, Cheryl Cammack, Angela Smoot(Michael) and Tracy Lucas; four sons, Wilbert Thacker, Maurice Briggs, Cedric Briggs and Anthony Jackson; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister Geneva Ziegler; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law, Shirley Rhodes; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Briggs can be viewed Friday July 9th and where funeral services will be held Saturday July 10th at 3PM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 2:45PM Saturday.
