Alphonso Edward Jones

Departed this life October 6th, 2021. Alphonso Jones, age 68, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Godbolt Jones, one daughter, Odessia “Renae” Jones and his parents, Maurice Mitchell and Ethel Ligon. He is survived by three children, Kizzie Jones(Adam), Tanya Mitchell(Elijha) and Alphonso Mayes and a host of grand and great grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Ligon; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Jones can be viewed Thursday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Friday at 2PM. Interment private. Masks are required. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 1:45PM Friday.
