Departed this life January 4th, 2025. Mrs. Barbara Irving Pettaway Mines, age 81, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Lee Mines Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Kinda M. Mines; her son, Irvin Lee Mines Jr., bonus son, Perry Mines (Pam); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four sisters- in- law, Queen Harris (Rufus), Grace Richardson, Rosebud Bennett, and Glenda Walker (Jerome); three brothers- in- law, Charlie Mines (Judy), Cecil Robinson (Joyce) and John Pegram; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Mines can be viewed on Sunday, January 19th from 10AM to 6PM, and where funeral services will be held on Monday January 20th, at 1PM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM on Monday.
