Departed this life February 3rd, 2023. Bennett Booker Jr., age 74, of Richmond. He was a past master of Richmond Lodge #65 and Henrico Chapter #78 OES(both Prince Hall Affiliated). He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Booker. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle and Tonya Booker; one son, Bennett T. Booker(Danielle); four grandchildren, Jade & Bryce Bryan and Joshua & Jonathan Booker; his mother, Belle Locker; four brothers, James Ross(Phyllis), Larry Booker(Angela), Lee Booker and Frankie Locker(Sheila); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister- in-law, Gwendolyn Carter Johnson; two brothers- in-law, Mitch Reid and Russell A. Carter(Ruby) and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Booker will be available for viewing all day Wednesday and where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home Thursday.
