Bernard Rogers

Departed this life March 29, 2022. Bernard Rogers of Richmond was a retiree of the United States Air Force E6, and a retiree of the Civil Service GS12. He is survived by his loving wife Martha A.H. Rogers; three children, Biff L., Barry L., and Belinda L. Rogers; three grandchildren Bianca L., Brooke L. and Bryson L. Rogers; three sisters Alice R. Morgan, Claudette R. Chrisp and Anne T. Rogers; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister in law Carrie Rogers; brother in law Milton T. Jackson Sr. and other relatives and friends among them, Military Retirees Club, Spooner McWilliams and Ed Davis. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Rogers can be viewed all day Wednesday, April 6th. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7th at 12:00 noon at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road. His remains will lie in state 1hr before the funeral. Dr. Kirkland Walton(Pastor) officiating. Internment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends please assemble at the church at 11:45am Thursday.
